Hilton Chennai Appoints Achal Aggarwal as Executive Chef

CHENNAI, India - Hilton Chennai announced the appointment of Achal Aggarwal as Executive Chef. In this position, Chef Aggarwal will be responsible for managing the overall kitchen operation, including food conceptualisation, preparation, presentation and promotion. Chef Aggarwal's creativity combined with a passion for fine cuisine will impart freshness to the four dining outlets at the hotel that include Vasco's, the all-day world cuisine restaurant, Vintage Bank, the only wine and cheese bar in the city, the café Est and the very popular rooftop bar and grill, Q Bar.

With more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Achal has worked with hospitality companies like Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. He has been associated with award winning Japanese restaurants in the country like Sakura, Wasabi and Megu. Most recently he was in charge of the kitchen team at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi.
